Feedback from recent engagements
Nuttaporn Kaewkham
Head of Marketing, Bangkok
"We did the Routine Session after a difficult few months where the team felt like it was always catching up. The session itself was well-structured and the summary document was genuinely useful — not just a list of observations. We have been following the improvement list for about six weeks and it has made a difference."
May 2025 · Routine Session
Prawit Tantiwong
Marketing Director, Chiang Mai
"We engaged Oxbow Lane for the full Operations Project when we were expanding from three to seven people in the team. The workflow guide took a couple of rounds to get right for our situation, but the final document is something we actually use. Templates were practical and not too complicated."
April 2025 · Operations Project
Supalak Lertchai
CMO, Bangkok
"Six months into the advisory arrangement and it has become something the team values. The monthly notes are concise and useful — not a long report I have to summarise for people. The session itself is a good forcing function for reviewing how we are operating rather than just what we are producing."
May 2025 · Operations Advisory
Wiroj Phoomphon
Marketing Manager, Phuket
"We had been operating on the same informal process since the team was two people, and it was visibly creaking at nine. The project took about a month. What I appreciated was that they did not arrive with a framework they wanted to impose — they spent the first two sessions just understanding how we actually work."
March 2025 · Operations Project
Araya Jirawong
Brand Manager, Bangkok
"The Routine Session was a reasonable starting point. Some of the improvement suggestions were things we had already identified internally, but having them written down in one place and prioritised was useful. The process felt slightly rushed toward the end, though the deliverable itself was solid."
April 2025 · Routine Session
Kanokwan Sirimongkol
VP Marketing, Bangkok
"Eight months into the advisory. The outside view is consistently useful — especially when the team is deep in a campaign cycle and losing perspective on process. The written notes after each session also serve as a record that I can share with leadership when they ask how we are improving our operations."

Case Studies
Three examples in more detail
B2B technology company, Bangkok — 7-person marketing team
Challenge
The team had grown from three to seven people over eighteen months, but the informal ways of working from the earlier stage had not been updated. Handoffs between content, social and demand generation were unclear, and work was being duplicated or dropped in the gaps.
Solution
We ran a four-week Operations Project — two observation sessions, two documentation sessions and a final review. We mapped the full planning-to-review cycle and clarified role boundaries at each handoff point. The output included a workflow guide and a set of brief process templates.
Outcome
Three months after the project, the team reported fewer instances of duplicated effort and a planning cycle that was running more consistently. The workflow guide has been updated twice internally as the team continued to adjust it — which is what a useful document does.
"The process was collaborative enough that the guide felt like ours, not theirs."
Regional retail brand, Bangkok — 4-person marketing team
Challenge
A small team managing a mix of digital and in-store activity with no written process for planning or reviewing what had been produced. The manager was effectively carrying the process in her head, and there were concerns about what would happen when she was on leave.
Solution
A half-day Routine Session with the full team. We worked through how work was currently being assigned, produced and reviewed, and identified three specific areas where written process would reduce reliance on the manager's memory and judgment.
Outcome
The team implemented two of the three suggestions within the first month. The most impactful change was a simple weekly content handoff checklist that removed the back-and-forth around what had been approved and what still needed attention.
"I had expected to be told we needed a major overhaul. Instead we got three specific things we could actually fix."
Financial services firm, Bangkok — 12-person marketing function
Challenge
A larger team that had gone through a significant restructure and was rebuilding its operating approach under new leadership. The CMO wanted a consistent outside view to help track whether the new processes were holding up as activity levels increased.
Solution
We moved into an advisory arrangement after an initial Operations Project. The monthly sessions became part of the CMO's regular operating review cycle. Between sessions, short written notes flagged observations that needed attention before the next formal review.
Outcome
After ten months the team's planning cycle had stabilised and handoff problems between the internal team and external agencies had reduced significantly. The CMO continues the advisory arrangement as the team takes on new channels.
"Having someone outside the team who knows how we work, and can tell us what they are observing, is more useful than I expected."
